Eine 10 Stunden tagsüber Zugfehrt von Bukarest nach Sofia, bis zur Grenze bei Ruše mit ganzen 2 uralten aber ziemlich gemütlichen Wagen. Gut für viel belatschte & asphaltmüde Füße. Nach der Überquerung der Donau & doppelter Passkontrolle gings mit 6 Wagen weiter, wobei unserer als inzwischen letzter, keinen Strom hatte und die letzten 3 Stunden mit offener Hintertüre fuhr. Agnes Theorie ist, daas kein Rumäne mehr Zug fährt , weil alle den schnelleren Bus nehmen, und der Zug nur noch von durchgeknallten Mitteleuropäern genutzt wird. Spätestens ab Ruše fuhren aber auch etliche andere mit. Durch die scheinbar endlosen bulgarischen Ebenen und enorm lang gestreckten Hügellandschaften voller Felder, bei denen man sich fragt, wo hier und da zwischen drin genug Menschen wohnen, um das alles zu bewirtschaften. Erst kurz vor Sofia wurde die Landschaft spektakulärer und zeigte, was an bizarren Felsen im Abendlicht geboten werden kann.
