Disinfection effect of traction bed
In order to better control and prevent nosocomial infections, bacterial contamination of the orthopedic traction bed in use and its disinfection effect were tested.
1 Materials and methods Sampling the traction bed without any disinfection treatment, using cotton swabs soaked with sterile physiological saline on the surface of the traction bed, the traction belt and the tripod etc(learn more). Detect bacterial colonies and pathogenic bacteria. Wipe the entire traction bed and traction belt with 500 mg / L chlorine / 840 disinfectant solution, and then take samples for inspection. The positive rate of sampling bacteria in the traction bed used before disinfection was 100%, and Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Escherichia coli were detected.
After cleaning and disinfection treatment, the samples were sent for inspection. The bacterial colonies were <10CFU / cm2, and no pathogenic bacteria grew. It meets the hygienic standard requirements of the number of colonies on the surface of environmental objects in the category 5 disinfection technical standard 6 (GB15982-1995) in 2002 of the Ministry of Health <10CFU / cm2. The V2 test before and after disinfection of the traction bed showed statistically significant differences (P <0.01). Orthopedics traction beds are used frequently, and a large number of orthopedics inpatients and outpatients are treated with traction. Some patients are towed twice a day, and the average daily usage is more than 20 people. If the management is not good, it is easy to cause cross infection in the hospital, so it should be highly valued by medical staff. Therefore, strengthen the cleaning and disinfection management of orthopaedic traction beds, regularly wipe the disinfection traction beds with chlorine-containing disinfectants, and at the same time, medical staff wash their hands before and after traction treatment to eliminate hidden dangers, effectively control and prevent the occurrence of cross infection in hospitals.
