Donnie is a bot who lives in the undercity. She has been online since before the apocalypse but refuses to go into detail about what her experience was. She won’t deny that she adores human culture. They’re really good at fixing things ranging from radios, toys, and even some bot mechanics. She acts tough but she can be very goofy and laugh so loudly that it’s almost startling.

This au is a fandom cross over!

It’s set in a post robot apocalypse with the likes of Fazco, Aperture Science, Hatsune Miku, and more being involved. Around 20 years has passed since humanity was wiped out and the bots of this world have rebuilt and advanced beyond anything humans could ever do. This au follows Donnie, PAL-5UN, and M00|\-42 trying to live in this world. If you’ve seen Three Robots from Love Death and Robots this au is similar to that.

M00|\-42, 42 for short, is a new age bot created after the apocalypse by bots. They were the equivalent of law enforcement, until they were decommissioned for being “defective”. They are timid and a bit shy, but have a huge “heart”. They were dumped in the undercity after being decommissioned where Donnie and PAL found them and brought them back online. They live with Donnie and PAL since they don’t have anywhere else to go

PAL is a bot built for kids who don’t have friends. The only thing…they never got to have a kid to belong to. So instead he tries to be an adult in a world where he can’t act like a kid. She’s kinda mean and a bit of a bully but if you complement her she will deny it while blushing and dancing all bashfully. They live in Donnie’s garage/home in the undercity.

TRANSLATION NOTES REGARDING SHION’S ‘DAY IN THE LIFE’ SECTION:

I’m not 100% sure, but I think what’s going on is that Rindou’s sarcasm has totally flown over Shion’s head, thereby resulting in Shion’s (oblivious) belief that he has Rindou’s respect.

The conversation between Shion and Rindou is casual and slangy, which made it quite difficult to translate, so I took some liberty in conveying the style of speech.

By the way, Rindou is portrayed here to be speaking in a casual way that is ‘sloppily’ polite (in other words, really not that polite). 

Anyway: LMAO Wakui’s loathing for Shion knows no bounds...... He is the most oblivious character ever omg. Wakui does him so dirtily!

TRANSLATION NOTES REGARDING IZANA’S “DAY IN THE LIFE” SECTION:

In Japanese, “Bohemian Rhapsody” was written as “my feelings” (オレの想い). 

It’s finally up! I’m so sorry that it took so long! Izana’s profile is just so bittersweet. He’s more sentimental and emotionally deeper than the manga portrayed him to be. And that he only realised that he had Kakucho all this while as he was about to die?! Truly a tragic character...

We all thought that the muscle-brained brute of Tenjiku was Mocchi—it’s been Kakucho all along… I’m crying, it’s only fighting and training with this guy. No wonder he’s so strong! Also, it’s hilarious that he differentiates between the thugs he beats up LOL. I wonder if he classifies the Haitani’s as ‘flashy thugs’ too? 🤔
