The Toronto Queer Zine Fair is hosting a summer pop up market and mingle! Buy work from some of your favourite zinesters, enter a raffle to win fun prizes, and catch up with all your zinester and creative pals. Facebook Event:Â https://www.facebook.com/events/1728539380717703/ SUNDAY, JULY 31, 2016 THE GLADSTONE HOTEL MELODY BAR 11:00AM - 5:00PM SUGGESTED ENTRY $5-$20/NO ONE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS ACCESS INFO BELOW.
We thank the Gladstone Hotel for their generosity in donating their space for this event. If you would like to donate to our raffle, please email [email protected]! Access Info: The fundraiser will take place in the Gladstone Hotel's Melody Bar, which has ramp access but no button to open the door. We will have the ramp access door open unless it is raining. If you may need assistance with the door, on the off chance it is raining, please email [email protected] and we will pass on a number you can text/call for assistance. The Gladstone has two gendered washrooms with stalls (not accessible), one wheelchair accessible all gender single stall (with grab bars but no button), and one all gender washroom (not accessible). Please do not wear scented products to this event. We will supply unscented soap in all the washrooms. Because this event is in a space where other things will be going on we can't guarantee a scent free space but ask people help us make it as scent free as possible. There will be no alcohol served in the Melody Bar; however, brunch service will be available in the other room and there will be alcohol served there. For this reason we cannot guarantee that the space will be alcohol free. We ask that people not bring their alcoholic drinks into the pop up market area; however, we will not be enforcing this. There is a bar in the Melody Bar, but it will not be in service. There will be no ASL interpretation for this event. There will be no childcare for this event.
