Hey, do you have an idea about why lambda is named lambda? Like lambda as in wavelength? Just wondering if theres any specific reason you think. Also, I was wondering if Aish might have an injured right eye? Bc 1) she has her hair like that and 2) in a small panel of her there's some dark patches and lines around it. Not sure if it's just shading but I thought it might be some blood?

I think the lambda refers to longitude from cartography. So I think lambda-7214 is a coordinate.

I have previously written a post about it as well, but I think my theory on this is also supported by the volume 7 extra cover sketch that shows the lambda symbol on a globe.

I think that is a hint as well to it being a real coordinate.

So what longitude exactly does 7214 refer to? There isn't anything interesting on either E or W Longitudes 72.14, and even if we flip it like we do with the neck numbers, there isn't much interesting stuff at 41.27 either...

I have however been wondering if it is related to the Mariana Trench, the deepest spot of ocean on Earth, just South of Japan.

The Mariana Trench' longitude coordinate does go from 142ish (min) to 147ish (max)... so you could construct 7214 from that.

But maybe that's a bit too contrived.

I am just suspicious since that area also has the Devil's sea or Evil sea, also called the Dragon's triangle, a sort of mystery place like the Bermuda triangle.

Regarding Ayshe, you were absolutely right! She was hiding some sort of mark/injury around her right eye! Well done for spotting it, and sorry that I didn't reply earlier!

I wonder if it's a birth mark, or comes from an injury. Must have been some reason for why the plantation wanted to get rid of her... The other babies looked visually healthy, if a bit small.

It may or may not become relevant later I guess.

I know that this may sound weird, but is there a chance that William Minerva might be Norman's father? Couldn't that be the reason why William Minerva's younger brother took Norman when Norman was supposed to be killed and eaten? Please check TPN chapter 72 Minerva's image and the current image of Norman.

Don’t worry, it doesn’t sound weird, in fact, I have written multiple posts on the topic. I will link the relevant ones below, but the basic summary is that I think:

Norman was born as a result of genetic experiments at lambda using Ratri genes. I think it would be much more likely that the donor is Peter, rather than James (Minerva).

In terms of being a conventional child of James (or Peter), I think that’s pretty unlikely, since then he shouldn’t be cattle then, according to the Promise. If he is a merchandise created at lambda, then it would still be fine, after all, I think all premium farms use male genetic material for artifical fertilisation from the human world, with only the females and eggs being cattle. See that theory as well.

Hi! What do you think of the map (of the world?) in the office of Norman? Do you think it matters? It is on the first panel.

So that worldmap has been referenced ever since chapter 118, where we see Norman for the first time. I tried to crop it so the focus is on the map, not Norman, since it's drawn in a way that you easily get distracted...

Posuka-sensei does this a lot to hide details while misdirecting attention.

It appears in many different panels, but that is because Posuka is incredibly consistent and detailed with her backgrounds.

She is actually so consistent, that I think that map is

identical to the one from chapter 5 in Gracefield

(when the kids discuss where their world could be located)

It could be that Norman has the map in his office as a reminder of the human world that must exist somewhere, but he can't reach. Or perhaps Posuka-sensei was trying to get us to start discussing again

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE DEMON WORLD?!

Since it will be revealed soon, once Emma and Ray crosses the Seven Walls.

I think most people know about my theory of the Seven Walls being the Seven Seas, and the demon world being a bit like Atlantis. If not, I will link it in a reblog.

I also have a different theory about Lambda-7214 being a real-world coordinate for the Mariana-trench, the deepest seafloor on Earth, located right next to the Devil’s Sea, or Dragon's triangle... just off the coast of Japan... I will link that theory in a reblog as well.

In terms of maps, we have seen a couple globes in the series' art so far, and almost all of them without exception are turned to show OCEAN... I think that's another clue for the sea.

(Also, do you see the lambda symbol plotted on the globe, right in the middle of an ocean? Subtle... huh..? Or am I too good at spotting things?)
