Toypunks Vol. 2 Teaser

I'm super late to the party with this one, but apparently, Toypunks released this teaser for their second entry into the vinyl toy documentary. I'm wondering if the DVD is ever going to actually come out, but seeing this old factory is still pretty sweet.

Very, very excited to announce that my good friends at Reckless Toys have just released their very first vinyl figure -- the Toypunks Mascot (pictured above). This release is extra special not only because this is the fledgling company's debut foray into the world of vinyl toys, but also because the Mascot is the first and only toy ever designed by the legendary Mike Giant.

The toy can be purchased today, February 26th, directly from Reckless for $99 + shipping, and was crafted in the venerable Obitsu toy factory, which has been crafting high-quality toys (including releases by Secret Base) out of Japan since 1966.

The Toypunks Mascot is the official mascot of the Toypunks documentary series, which is going full-steam ahead towards its sophomore installment. Embedded below is a clip from "Toypunks, Volume 2", featuring Mike  -- as well as a cameo from the little bugger pictured above as well.
