Duchess of Kent accompanied Princess of Avalon on first official engagement
Her Imperial Highness The Duchess of Kent accompanied her mother The Princess of Avalon on her first official engagement as a working royal. The Duchess who is also attending an online university has begun attending royal engagements, the Palace announced that Her Imperial Highness will accompany other members of the family on engagements for some time before she will begin to carry out her own engagements. The Duchess is scheduled to attend an event with her grandmother the Empress later this week as well as one with her father The Duke of Devonshire next week.
Their Imperial Highnesses visited the new Lilanelona Children's Center and Daycare. TIH were greeted by center director Mrs. Lau, Mrs. Lau showed the Imperial mother and daughter around the center before stepping back to allow Their Imperial Highnesses to interact with children and staff.
The Princess of Avalon wore a rarely seen broach, The Devonshire Citrine and Diamond Brooch. The Brooch is a part of the Devonshire Parure.
The Duchess of Kent wore a ring linked to her Great-Great Grandmother Empress Mary. Mary greatly expanded the Imperial Family's jewelry vault, adding many necklaces, bracelets and ring (and of course quite a few tiaras). The ring known as The Empress Mary Marquis Ring was gifted to The Duchess of Kent by her grandparents on her 18th birthday.
