Is there a specific theme in order to make a tos char (I want to make my oc in the tos au just don't know what I need in order to make one) /genq
Heres a sort of guide on how i make them:
1) I choose a character for them to be paired with and design them together. All canon characters, including the 3 new toons, have pairs, but i dont mind if you wanna ignore that and pair your oc with a canon character X]
2) Their subject determines what clothes they'll have, so i choose that next. I have no idea how to explain picking the subjects.. really the only thing is that technology has to be involved somehow. i do a LOT of boots and gloves and vests :P
(also!! Dandy and astro are the only ones with capes and stars on their outfits, thats for lore purposes, but if you wanna make your oc special go wild hehe. Generally speaking the rest of the toons dont have those and theyre more plain)
3) uuhh another thing is how i pick colors: every character has white, purple, black, brown, and gold. Black is a bit more optional (always a darker brown or purple btw, never pure black or gray)
Purples can range from nearly blue to almost magenta, and i try not to make my yellows and brows too warm.
sprout is literally the ONLY CASE so far of me adding another color to the palette because i couldnt make him purple like the rest of them [SOUNDS OF AGONY] but i still pushed his skin into the orange zone to fit the palette better. also his leaves arent even green theyre the same yellow used for cosmos glasses and their gold accents GVDKFBFK
again like. This is all just me describing my thought process, dont feel pressured to try and make yours perfect or anything X] Simply putting down info in case people want to go for accuracy but dont feel like you HAVE to

I replay to Tales of Symphonia this days and I realized that Sheena, even if she says that she "hates" Zelos, realizes that he will have to pass by the same suffering that Colette (and die for becoming a ange) if SHE fails to kill Colette. (Because if Colette sucesses, Zelos will have do do the regeneation thing in their world too) and Sheena doesn't want to see Zelos becoming like that. I love their friendship =) it could explain why she seems SO sad to see Colette suffer at every sceal too.
Yeah, Sheena's hate for Zelos is more for his attitude than him specifically

A: aha... funny thing about that, i changed the lore a bunch after finally figuring out a name for the au. the toons' souls were meant to be linked in the old lore, but as of now they dont even have souls... whoops!!! its become known as the tower of souls au though so i feel like itd be hard to change it. i mean its still a tower theres just no souls in it
