2018 Xi'an - Gou Family House 24 by C & R Driver-Burgess Via Flickr: This traditional courtyard house in the Muslim quarter of Xi'an displays a number of elements of life from bygone eras. 15 years ago we saw a puppet opera here! This year we arrived at the wrong time of day for the shows. The main attraction this time was a pair of kittens. Food dishes and a litter tray in a discreet corner told us that these ones weren't strays, unlike most we see around outside.
