My favorite stretch. My apartment is shaped bizarrely so this is 5.4x zoom and grainy 😲
Had an MRI of my spine today. Part of me is hoping there's nothing wrong and another part of me is hoping there's a reason I've had back pain for 9 years. They're not really doing the MRI for my back pain though, and I doubt they're looking at my whole spine. But maybe there's a reason other than my torn labrum that I've had sciatica for 4 years? I get pretty bad lower back pain and pain in the back of my pelvis which may or may not be explained by the labral tear in my hip.
Fuck I think my knee just subluxed. Knees are not cooperating today.
Got my cortisone injection today. Really hoping it gives me some relief until I'm able to have surgery 😓

I saw my Rheumatologist today, he's 100% dead set against me having this hip operated on. He feels that weight loss and physical therapy should be the first plan of treatment. I will still the new Ortho guy to devise a non-surgical plan. Sadly, I'm still hurting. Looks like I'll be spending some time in the pool. Had a good massage today and the lady told me that my tension lies mostly in the fascia layers and that's likely compressing on my muscles and tendons. Could be due to the lovely connective tissue component of my Lupus. I need a lot of work, more than she could do today. I'm hoping to get back to work next week.
I'm such a fucking wreck. I'm not sure if I'm even gonna consider having surgery on this hip. The guy I saw today predicts a 3-4 mos recovery, where as the first 2 mos are 100% NON WEIGHT BEARING. I would be with crutches or a walker...and no driving of course... I am a single mom with little to no help financially from Dipshidiot. There is no way that I can go through with this right now. At the moment I am in constant pain with a pain level of 5 out of 10... Improved from a 7 out of 10 since last week. But... I can walk with no limp, I can bend over and I can climb steps. I suppose I could wait until the suffering is worse, but then grad school will be starting in August... The program takes 2.5 yrs, I need to do it now or wait until school is over. Ugh A friend sent me the name of a guy who does this surgery with an anterior approach that may cut the recovery down to a week!!! I'm calling him tomorrow.
Kobe Bryant Shoulder Injury Deciding to Have Surgery - Wrong Move
Kobe Bryant has decided to undergo shoulder surgery for his torn labrum. What he does not know is that there is a doctor who can help him heal his shoulder naturally. But don’t get me wrong Kobe Bryant getting surgery is not bad but it probably won’t turn out good in the long run. It Read more at http://ge.tt/7pepRU92/v/0
