The Tormore 16-Year-Old is the crowning jewel of the core range from this spectacularly designed Speyside distillery. Known as the “Pearl of Speyside” due to its impressive listed architecture, Tormore has, for many years, supplied its outstanding single malt primarily for use in well-known blends.
Since Elixir Distillers acquired the distillery, Tormore has made a remarkable comeback. The 16-Year-Old serves as the mature flagship expression at the top of the core range.
The Tormore 16-Year-Old is a prime example of an elegantly matured Speyside single malt with complex sherry influences. Rather than masking the distillery’s distinctive character with excessive oak, it uses the sherry notes as a velvet cushion for its fruity core.
