fallenagain replied to your post:
Tank ân Spank is the only True Way tbh. (Says the gal who doesnât know how to properly lure them, anyways.) Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
sorry this reply took a little; i checked it on mobile, where i canât copy, and was like âill reply when i get back to my computerâ but then forgot -_-
anyway, whats tank and spank? is it just tanking out the damage and dealing as much DPS as possible? if so, im glad that works to u but im gonna stick to luring because i am weak and hate getting damaged :p
(tho i think i do do that sometimes when i accidently wind up away from my rocks and need to kill two demons that are both attacking me - i can pray for 1 and tank the other. i can also try to swap prayer for both before their attacks hit me if their attacks are timed slightly different, but that is reeeeaaaaaalllly brain intensive)
i normally dont mind killing TDs (I actually like them b/c quest reward + high lvl slayer for the win) but lately ive been so tired that just holding my hands on the keyboard (For quickprayers) has been too much energy. most other monsters i can do w/ my mouse :/
Hehehehehehehe all the non swiftie OSRS fans are not gonna like this but itâs all I could think about
went down to TDs with my sibling because zie wanted someone to help zir if zie got piled
got only 500k there.... for an hr and 30 minutes. TDs arenât so great if u dont get lucky
(also my spring cleaner was not disassembling anything!!!)
but it was kind of nice and fun. felt good to not have to bank every 10-15 kills like i did for living wyverns -_- and got a ton of blue charms
i only had to bail sibling out like.. 4 or 5 times in the whole 90 mins, so i think zie is getting better
another bright side: hit 99 ranged down there

how much less annoying would TDs be if holy water was tradable tho?
Tormented Demons
so lately iâve been helping my sibling, and today zir friend, work on killing TDs because for some reason I am the person who can kill tormented demons and other people i know seem to have difficulty. Probably because I donât know too many PVMers lol
but the primary thing iâm thinking is.... stats donât matter that much. I mean donât go down with a bronze dagger or w/e, but you donât have to freak out and take your chaotic or nox
What really matters is prayer swapping and patience.
and patience isnât like to say âtry again and again and youâll succeed sometimeâ b/c that would be frustrating as hell, but like...
there are rock spawns you can stand behind to prevent too many demons from attacking you. you may get bored after you kill the demons near your rock spawn and want to aggro another. Unless youâre good at prayer swapping and experienced, donât do this. The hardest part is just like... waiting for them to respawn and staying by your rock in my experience. If you get impatient and run out to aggro other demons, youâre gonna get piled. and then blow through all your food.
In my experience, with high level creatures you can get assigned slayer tasks on like TDs, glacors, and Airuts,
Airuts require the HIGHEST stats and the LOWEST amount of skill (you just... attack them p much. but they have high defence so you know, u need good gear)
glacors have the MEDIUM required stats and the MEDIUM required skill. I am way more accurate on glacors than Airuts, but the glacytes you need a strategy for so the glacor doesnât become too annoying to kill (ie dont kill the armored one last lol). Still itâs very predictable and happens once per fight.
and TDs require the LOWEST stats and the HIGHEST amount of skill (also good internet speed). You can hit TDs very easily w/ tier 80 gear, or cheap blisterwood if youâre an ironman, take warpriest or hybrid gear that isnât like top tier armored Tetsu or Sea Singers shit. I think you could do it with lower gear but until I try I donât want to be like âtotally do this guysâ
Basically itâs about being patient and prayer swapping and yah Iâm just thinking about it lately
(also if any of my friends want to try my TD strategies, message me and we can schedule a time for me to help you get used to them while keeping pilers off your backs like I did for my siblings)
ETA: also, meleeing them I donât really like when you just start. I know holy water is a pain in the butt to get, but itâs worth it to keep in your safe spot and develop a rhythm to killing demons that doesnât involve having to run up and hit them with darklight, thus exposing you to more aggro guys who want to eat you and pile you. Ofc once you get a good idea of how to do it, I assume melee works just as well. Itâs just first time down, I wouldnât complicate things

Always fun :x At least it doesnât take too long to run back, even if that would be uber annoying.Â
yh also that light creature tele to TDs might come in handy if i ever decide i can live w/o my yak... they dont take too much food if u prayer swap right and dont get impatient and run out from behind your demon blocking rock like i always do
