an idea i had while watching "Obsession" (i watched it because "how can i make this about wincest?" and i succeeded; the irony is that the plot was already laid out in two episodes of supernatural, haha). Well, this is more weecest
the movie is good, i recommend it, but you'll probably feel for the poor girl and hate the protagonist
(there's no unrequited love here, just a misunderstanding that ruined everything)
part I
it's been about two weeks, or a little less, since Sam and Dean last spoke, and it's sam's fault (or at least, he blames himself)
John parks at the gas station, asks Dean to buy some snacks for the road, and tells his two sons to use the restroom while they can. Sam just watches from the window as Dean walks away and goes into the store
two weeks ago, or a little less, Sam tried to kiss Dean on the lips because Sam himself had asked Dean to explain how to approach girls (here we go again). He used the excuse of saying hello to the motel receptionist's daughter. Dean went along with it, and they were having a great time. Dean was cracking jokes, and Sam was teasing him in return. And then—boom! Sam tried to kiss Dean when they were very close, but Dean turned his head away as quickly as a reflex (as if it had happened so many times that it was an innate ability) and they stared into each other's eyes in silence for so long that Sam thought they had lost their voice
Dean didnt say anything, just laughed nervously and got up to clean the guns, while Sam stayed behind like a fool (idiot, idiot, idiot, he's such a stupid kid!)
Sam figured his love wasnt reciprocated (he didn't doubt his brother's love, but he thought it was impossible for Dean to love him the same way he loved him). Now he was lying in the back of the Impala, feeling like a walking garbage can. After a few minutes, he got bored of playing with his feet and decided to go exploring while John used the payphone. Sam explored the back room next to the gas station. An old woman with lots of necklaces was at the register solving a sudoku puzzle, uninterested in little Sammy's presence, who was glancing around. He dabbled in various things; it was mostly a storage room full of secondhand stuff, like old toys, occult paraphernalia, cheap perfume, some talismans, and books from World War II (collecting dust ever since, maybe). He found some boxes that reminded him of cheap fireworks, though each box only contained one firework, and he thought it was a scam
"That's a wish, child. Be careful. Light one of those, and whatever you wish for might come true'', the old woman snapped her fingers. Sam's heart nearly leaped out of his chest
Sam decides to buy it, along with the word search puzzle magazine in the display case, just to kill time on the trip. He uses the money Dean sometimes gives him for candy (which he doesn't actually buy).
Sam leaves the store. Dean is still chatting with the cashier, probably flirting, judging by the way she's laughing and he's leaning over the counter. John is still on his phone, and Sam decides to get into the Impala. No one noticed him leave and come back. He takes the box, picks up a match, and huffs. He watches Dean laughing so far away and speaks aloud
"I wish Dean would love me, and only me, more than anything, romantically'', he strikes the match, and it flicks across the surface. It ignites for a second and then quickly goes out. Sam thought it would at least explode and scare even John, but nothing happens. He puts the box in his backpack and decides to take out a pen to fill in the word search puzzle. "What are you doing, Sammy?" Dean leaned out the back window, and Sam shook himself again
"Dean, you scared me! what the heck?" Dean's bewildered smile made Sam smile back, equally bewildered. They looked at each other, puzzled. "Sorry, i didn't mean to scare you. I was just asking what you were doing, buddy''. Sam put away his magazine "nothing, just waiting for you guys…". Dean nodded and drummed his fingers "Want to sit together back here?", "What?", "I said", "I know what you said, Dean. What's with all this? You're always riding shotgun with Dad. What if he asks you for directions?". Dean shrugged "Dad can ask for them while I'm in the back, right?" Sam smiled again, confused
John barely argued when he saw that Dean had decided to stay behind. Dean excused himself, saying he was tired and could take a nap in the back, and Sam could feel John's gaze in the rearview mirror. Tired? Tired as a pig's ass, John thought without looking at them, Dean spent the time pushing and playing with Sam in the back of the Impala, just like when they were restless little kids.
Sam kissed Dean two days later. On the third day, Dean gave him oral sex in the bathroom of a fastfood restaurant. And on the fifth day, Sam lost his virginity. Riding Dean, who cried and repeated that he wanted it, he had come too quickly inside his brother, but he was too young and hormonal, so he made up for it with more rounds until Dean came with a shout. Dean loved him as much as Sam loved him. The long hugs, the tender kisses on his eyelids, and sleeping nestled against Deans broad back felt like floating on clouds. Sometimes they slept late, chatting, laughing, and whispering. Dean's hands would stroke his head, and he'd dream of bees and honey.
John tried to get Dean to go hunting with him, but Dean refused, asking to stay and look after Sam. He knew immediately that this was about desire, a desire that had come true. Dean would never refuse an order from John, never put Sam above a hunt with John. (John was bewildered, storming off, puffing smoke from his nose, while Dean huddled in the corner of the room, sweating and nearly pale, after their argument)
"it's okay, he'll be alright'', Sam tried to comfort Dean. Dean smiled and hugged him, stroking Sam's head as if Sam were the one who needed comforting. Things didnt go so well after that, though
as Sam leaned in to kiss Dean, Dean backed away and gave him a strange look, then laughed and backed away again. Sam worried that Dean was about to collapse, and Dean said, "what the hell is going on?" Dean's eyes looked restless and scared, but it only lasted a few seconds. Immediately, Dean playfully pushed Sam away and kissed him. That same night, Sam woke up and didn't find Dean beside him. Dean was sitting on the edge of the bed, crying. "Dean? what's wrong, Dean?" and when Sam turned around, Dean yelled at him
Dean started convulsing, scaring Sam even more
"no, what am i doing? what do i do? im scared, sammy, i'm sorry, what do i do? get me out of here, Sam, get me out of here!" Dean pleaded as Sam tried to calm him down. They went outside late at night, and Sam thought Dean had calmed down, enjoying the cold night air, walking, until Dean tried to run toward the road and Sam stopped him before a truck hit him
''i'm sorry, Sammy, im so sorry, please forgive me'', Dean whispered as Sam hugged him. ''No, Dean, it's okay, everything's alright, its nothing. I'll help you, you're going to be okay, we'll make it work, okay?'', Sam replied. ''Do you love me, Sammy?'' Sam stepped back to look at him. ''of course, Dean, of course I love you. I love you more than anything''.
things only got worse from there—
Dean had night terrors, sometimes seemed to collapse as if his mind were splitting, and his love for Sam was becoming increasingly suffocating; he would stop eating to give all his food to Sam, spend hours awake watching him sleep, cry and tremble demanding Sam's love, and had been violent more than once with people who approached Sam
they had a heated argument because Dean pushed that girl and she hurt her face. They had to flee quickly and talk to John (omitting the part where Dean did something horrible out of possessive jealousy). Dean cried, apologizing, and Sam couldn't bear to see him cry. His brother never cried, and now he was crying all the time, inconsolable. Sam writhed inside with an immature satisfaction at seeing him vulnerable. A desperate kiss from Dean quickly calmed him, and when Dean opened his legs, everything was forgotten
Sam couldn't see how Dean clung to him with an expression somewhere between horror and desire as he was penetrated. Dean groaned loudly, clinging to Sam's body, and Sam could hear him murmur, "Jesus, what am i doing? What am i doing? im letting my brother do this to me''.
he silenced him with a kiss
a few days later, John returned, unexpectedly and without having called them
Dean was on top of Sam when John opened the door. The first thing he saw was his older son riding his younger son, Sammy's hands around Dean's waist, while Dean, tears streaming down his face, stared back, equally horrified
John grabbed Dean's arm, pushed Sam off, and Dean screamed uncontrollably, "i'm sorry, i'm sorry, dad, i'm so sorry, i love Sammy, i love him!". John stopped, his hand raised, as Dean vomited on the floor. Sam begged him to leave him alone: "LEAVE HIM ALONE, I WANTED THIS, LET HIM GO!"
"what did you do to him?" John said, horrified to see Dean on the floor, but he didn't speak to Dean; he went to Sam. John knew; he had that damned hunter's sixth sense. He could see that something was wrong with Dean, and even with Sam. He realized it so quickly. "Damn, kid, what the hell have you done?" and he picked Dean up from the ground again. Dean resisted, refusing, "no, no, no, no, don't take me away from Sam, dad!"
there was a gunshot, screams of horror, and a lot of blood splattered. Dean was screaming, staring at John's body on the ground, his face covered in his father's blood. "Dad, dad, oh god, dad!" Sam had pulled the trigger. Breathing heavily, he rushed to Dean. "God, im sorry, i'm sorry, Dean, he was going to hurt you, he was going to—" Dean, who was in shock with John's body almost on top of him, smiled happily and turned to Sam. He couldn't stop crying. "I know, sammy, i know. You did the right thing, you did" he said, looking devastated. His hands, which had wanted to reach for John, ended up hugging Sam ''i love you, i love you so much, my baby brother''
they disposed of John's body like any other hunter incident
Sam found the box with the magic fireworks and decided to take a look. It was because of that wish. He had to do something, investigate. If his father would do that, was this magic or a curse? He had to figure it out like a The hunter found a number on the box and called from a public phone booth
''do you want to undo the wish?''', ''No, no- i don't know... It’s not that, it’s not just… maybe change it, maybe ask for something different'', Sam bit his thumbnail. "You can't change it'', "Then i want to undo it!" he shouted. "You can't either. It can't be changed or undone. Enjoy what you wished for, kid'', "Wait, wait! Isn't there a way?!"
"the wish is until you die, kid. No returns''
