S- batim takes inspiration from many old cartoons, so I’m wondering if the new bendy will be a catalyst for some classic Tom and Jerry shenanigans. Now THAT I would pay to see
Honestly, I wasn't sure what I should write back. I've never perceived BATIM as drawing inspiration from cartoons (yes, of course, reference to Mickey Mouse, etc. but not really), and I don't see BATDR doing it (if that's what you mean).
Personally, I'm also not a fan of typical cartoon gags, such as slipping on a banana peel, banging heads with hammers, etc. I was rather amused by those that disturbed reality (e.g. a painted hole or a landscape that acted as real for one character and not for another). On the other hand... the Ink Demon doing some standard toon gags... hmm... that might even be fun :)
But when we're talking about a more toon-like BATIM universe, I have this great story (by LNicol1990) from which SquigglyDigg drew a comic for in my mind.
