I really like to explore the edges of what i'm allowed to do. And i don't think that there are ceilings for what we're allowed to do musically. I think that if you don't play using different instruments, if you don't paint using different colors, you're making the choice to stay the same. I'm used to being called "too something". From my first album , I've been called either "You know, this is too pop." "This is too rock." I had a song called mean that people said was too bluegrass, too country, which i thought was funny. I don't mind it if people are calling my music "too something". It's people saying that all my songs are starting to sound the same, that's the big fear. - Taylor Swift, Storytellers VH1
