I wish there was a way for them to only come out to us fans, but like not to the media/ other YTers/ BBC.. Idk man, I've been thinking this for quite a while, though I know it's kinda impossible, considering we're such a large fandom anyway..
hmm while it may appear liberating for them to come out , do realize that we (as fans) are in fact the media. They can’t just come out to us and not everywhere else, the fanbase is built through these forms of media, YT really is how we can support them, and how they will ever “communicate” to us, it is the sole platform that can keep us interconnected.
This might be the reason why they have to take note the huge audience if they were to come out, they won’t just be coming out to only us, but in fact the whole world. (which in itself is a little funny as ‘we’ the fandom ARE from different parts of the world?)
It’s super scary for them if you think about it tbh (hypothetically speaking if they are in fact together ofc)
