Andrew Dobson's Atea
This is my interpretation of a piratical character named Atea who is the creation of the rather infamous comic artist Andrew Dobson, also known as Tom Preston. I used to follow the dude here on DeviantArt back in the early 2010s, but then I learned that he had developed a reputation for having an inflated ego and a thin skin to a combative extreme. He also went through a phase of masquerading as a zealous champion of feminism and LGBT+ rights, but it turned out that his side gig was drawing fetish art of women being forcibly inflated like balloons (he also had such a special affinity for lesbians that he even pretended to be a lesbian teenage girl at one point).
Personally, I think Dobson would have found himself much happier had he just stuck to the lesbian inflation art and owned up to it, as well as developing some humility. As it stands, he's gotten himself chased off the Internet for the time being. Oh well, it was still a small bit of fun doing my take on one of his old characters.
