I went to UP yesterday without any motive other than the org consultation with ESC and EC. I almost forgot that it’s our anniversary, UP Eng'gSoc’s 20th. Little did I know, that night would be one of the best ones I had with “the kids”. The org bagged the 2nd place in BE’s annual Boat Race Competition in TK. This meant more booze and cash! It made me remember those awesome days. Flashback began with a bottle of beer and a few puffs from a stick. I was ready to go since things began to be uncomfortable. I’d been surrounded with college kids which made me feel a lot more tita than what I am. Also, few people asked me about my ex and congratulating me for what he had done during the boards. Weird, isn’t it? It was a good thing that Vincent, Da and the rest of the EC where there to help me cap the night with a hurrah. I really appreciated when Da dragged me several times just to have a moment with you. It even took me some time to realize that I can’t escape from this. Ever since our senior year, you knew that you were and will always be my happy crush. Every day brightens up because of your killer smile. I just didn’t want us to start in an awkward conversation that’s why I had to make an escape. I am hoping that everything will fall into the right place. Just like Da said, We can be friends or more than that. Whatever goes. I can still feel the connection that we had. I can still feel the touch of your skin when we bumped to each other. I can still smell the alcohol mixed with your scent coming from your Black and Violet shirt. I still see that glaring look from your glowing eyes. Yes, I have a hangover and it’s a hangover of bliss. I just can’t get enough of you. I want to know you more given a chance. I am thankful that I have these wingmen with me. Thanks Da, Regina and Lizbeth for trying to make me converse with him. Thank you for trying to make me happy. Thank you EC for listening. Thank you EnggSoc for this. Lastly, Thank you Mr Killer Smile for trying to have a decent convo with me.
