Who do you think Hillary Clinton should have chosen as her running mate in 2016?
Of the people reportedly on her shortlist, I thought she should have chosen Cory Booker or Tom Perez. Tim Kaine seemed safe and he was certainly qualified, but I never thought he was a good choice and definitely wasn't excited by his nomination. Senator Booker would have been a great pick and a spirited campaigner. Perez wouldn't have been as good on the campaign trail, but he would have been an interesting balance to the ticket.
Outside of her shortlist, I thought she should have picked Admiral William McRaven. At the time I think I was already mentioning my hope that Admiral McRaven actually run for President. I still think he should run for President.
This is not democracy. These elections should have been delayed. Tom Perez’s DNC and their candidate of choice, Biden, whose surrogates are lying to voters and saying the CDC approved today’s voting, should be held to account for criminal negligence of public health, and for election fraud. This is untenable and any results today are going to justifiably be thought of as invalid.
Remember how damned quickly they changed their rules after Bloomberg pumped a few hundred thou into their pockets? The DNC doesn’t care about public health -- they are risking public safety and people’s lives so that they can strike before public opinion inevitably turns against Joe ‘If M4A passed the house and senate, I would veto it’ Biden

Ultimately it was decided in smoke-filled rooms and plague-infested polls
And now we're supposed to bend the knee to the oligarchs who spent the year sabotaging our democracy in plain sight
