A #coveredbridge (and a #tollbridge to boot) I ran into while at work. Well, a pair of #coveredbridges , actually, but one is apparently out of order and the other was built as a replacement. Somehow I couldn’t get rid of the feeling that there was something medieval about them, or at least medieval-fantasy-ish. I suspect the DM in a #dungeonsanddragons campaign would have the villagers ask the PCs to help them get rid of the band of goblins who had been camping out at the overgrown bend just beyond the bridge and ambushing travellers who passed that way.
