I’m literally reading The Last Archangel right now and I’m squealing because there’s to be a second one soonish. So much anticipation! <3

The second's one started posting, actually. The fifth chapter goes up this Friday. And it's actually almost finished... I've just been stuck in a rut in Chapter 21.

I don’t think it’s cold-hearted, just practical. If someone is hurt they should seek help where/when possible. Making a huge production of small/benign injuries makes me livid. If you’re hurt I will help but if you’re just whining then please stfu.

Tbh, my personal pet peeve are people who get all clucky and frantic when someone gets hurt, and I'm just standing there trying not to start shouting "Shut the fuck up, you are NOT HELPING!"

I’m laughing doubly hard now because I’m imagining this happening and there you are all fretful and wanting to help and your mother is cooing over clothes. In.Spir.a.tional. xD Your mother is a gem.

It's rather embarrassing and annoying since I'm actually 0% the clucky type. I'm careful and try to avoid dangerous situations (I know I'm a klutz and get hurt easily), but if anyone is dumb enough to get hurt, I'm usually more like "Yeah, you probably better get a doctor for that." And most people make a huge drama about things that aren't that bad, anyway. (Look at me, so cold-hearted.)

…Okay, so I can sorta relate to your mother in this instance because it sounds like something I did last month. Also, I kind of want to laugh because your mother is hilarious and an inspiration, really. XD <3

I felt like an absolute moron because I was like 'Oh my god, you need a cold pack, take off your ring in case of swelling, are you sure you don't want to call the doctor?'

...and her reaction is 'oh, look, this jacket looks great with my brown skirt!'

Yes and no.

Yes because I have always been able to stand up for myself and say stop when I feel things are going to far. I also cry and freak out a lot, but I always face challenges head on anyway. I think that's what bravery is actually about, that you do stuff despite being scared.

No because there are situations where I would love to step in, but I'm too scared to do anything because I'm worried about my own security. If someone decides to get physical, I have literally no chance, and it frustrates me.
