5 MONTHS ❤️🐘 Our happy guy has been 5 months old for just over a week. He is starting to scoot around on his belly - he can't wait to be able to follow his big bro around. This month Toby tasted oatmeal, learned how to have conversations via blowing raspberries, and rode on a fourwheeler with Mama. He had a wonderful first Christmas; his favorite part was chewing on wrapping paper. He just got over his first big illness - his doctor suspects that he had RSV but beat it on his own. 4 MONTHS ❤️🦌 Toby rolls both ways, reaches for toys, loves to sleep, and is soooo ticklish. He has been battling a bit of a cold, which stinks, but he doesn't seem to mind all that much other than thinking he's being tortured when his nose needs cleaned out. Toby's eyebrows are really coming in and, like Teddy's, make his face so expressive! What the Raupp boys lack in hair, they make up in brows. Toby has also started chomping on his hands, so we think those first two teeth won't be too long in coming. 3 months 🐿️ Toby has had a personality explosion over the past month! He still doesn't love sleeping at night but we've had a couple nights with 8-hour stretches so I have hope for the future 🤞🏻 He has started reaching out to hit and grab toys and faces 🖐🏻 and he has giggled once or twice! 😁 He responds to little tickles with a HUGE open mouthed grin. 💗 Right now one of the best parts of the day is after big bro goes down for a nap, he gets his 1pm feeding and then takes a nap cuddling with mama! #tobybenedict #3months (late post) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4_CxMYB81W/?igshid=7z407727dfj3

Things rarely look picture-perfect around here, so when I noticed Toby was about to nap in his cactus swaddle while wearing his cactus outfit, I had to document it. Toby is two months old! He likes being sung to and watching Teddy run around. The last few nights have been pretty sleepless, but I think he's been very busy growing and learning with a growth spurt and then a leap. It stinks to leave him while I'm working, but it's great to see him smile and coo when he hears me get home! Although it took until last week, he's grown out of most size newborn clothes and diapers.
