I have had absolutely way too much excitement and way too many surprises this week and today specifically like Iām not going to live to see 2019 at this rate because the universe has decided to give me every single fandom-related thing I've ever even idly wished for in one month and the sheer joy is about to kill meĀ
Promised Neverland is getting an anime next year, literally announced like a day or two after I told a friend I thought it was too early to even hope it might get one
this was announced months ago but Young Justice is getting a new season next year after being literally cancelled a couple years ago and I will never stop being happy about that ever
this isnāt news from this month either technically but Darksiders 3 got made after the studio that made it went under or whatever and I HAVE IT and itās GREAT Iām still so excited it actually got made
BNHA is getting season 4 next year
Haikyuu and BNHA both are on whatās shaping up to be two of my favorite manga arcs ever my fave boys are e verywher e and Iām loving it every single week is an utter delight and brings me so much happiness

this month - this week is everything Iāve ever wanted smooshed together into one very short length of time HAPPY FRICKING BIRTHDAY TO ME
I was watching the BNHA Rescue Training OVA again and itās all very funny and heart-warming but also Aizawa and Thirteen are the worst actors and liars omg. During the USJ arc Aizawa literally had both arms broken and his skull repeatedly bashed in and still fought to protect Tsuyu like. After all that whoās going to actually believe that he would ever say something like, āIām too injured to fightā if there was actually a villain threatening his students.
On top of that, the first day of school he lectured Uraraka on how ālifeās not fair and you all need to be prepared for awful things because thatās just how the world is, deal with itā...and yet the minute that All Might wants to do something that proves that very point and would help them be more prepared/have a better understanding of the reality of being a hero, Aizawa immediately turns him down because thereās also a chance that it would just re-traumatize the kids and thereās no way heās letting anyone scare them like that again so soon if he can help it. Recovery Girl calling him a big old softie is one of the seriesā biggest understatements honestly.
