Ever since the series debuts on January 16, last month, Starfleet Academy failed to crack the top 10 for almost 3 weeks because big drama giants The Pitt, His & Her, Bridgerton and The Night Agent and fellow Paramount shows South Park, SpongeBob, iCarly, NCIS, School Spirits, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Taylor Sheridan's Landman, The King of Queens, Yellowstone and Criminal Minds overshadowed Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Poor writing, poor acting, unlikable and loathsome characters and Alex Krutzman is to blame. Like Jojo, the pop star from the 2000s says "too little too late" because the new episode features Star Trek's very first "gay" characters", that will likely to stop watching the new episode and better off watching The Running Man with Glen Powell and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for the SquarePants. In Jurassic World: Camp Createous, the beloved sci-fi franchise's cartoon spin-off finally found a lesbian rep in a very natural way... Yaz and Sammy, and the live action films where Zia and Franklin were butch lesbian and a feminine queer gay respectively, Kayla, Zora and Henry were bi respectively. The gay reps made Jurassic Park/World franchise very special and mature and I'm glad to being a Jurassic Park/World fan who respects it. But Star Trek... the sci-fi franchise failed to represent LGBTQA+ rep.
