R.P. Intro (Open)
Vlog Entry 32- Wonderful News!
A simple camera, embedded into a laptop, turned on. A blinking green light, signalling to the young woman that it was currently recording. Her tired, yet bright emerald colored eyes glanced down to her lap. Unseen to the camera.
"Hey, everyone..." The voice was soft, gentle and articulate. "Eco-Lily here for another update." A wave was given to the audience, tentative from her almost sullen expression.
"So... I have some mixed news. For some its amazing! Others... Might be a bummer..." The young woman sat back in a chair, a light from her left illuminating a lavender painted room. Reflecting a tinge of violet upon her long dark hair. A hand slipped through the ink colored tresses, their slight waves that curled past her shoulders. The porcelain of her face tipped, finely arched brows pinched together.
"So.. I'm traveling. Well.. Moving." Her features feigned sadness, a pout upon plump pink lips. Though, the mask had been quickly lifed, as a bus ticket was held up for the camera to see. A smile, of pearl white teeth, was given. The lithe young woman barely able to keep from bouncing in her seat from the excitement.
"I'm going to New York! I GOT THE JOB!"
In a moment, she was jumping from her chair. Dancing around the bedroom with hysterical laughter and contagious smiles. It was a dream, to be doing what she loved. After waiting for so long, to achieve it.
"I'm going to New York!! New York! New York! New York!"
It marked a brighter future. One that was snatched into open, and waiting arms, while congratulatory comments came rolling through a chat box. Each one heartfelt, and rising the woman's spirits further.
If Lilliana Elaine McKinney knew anything; it was that New York City was the place that gave hope to dreamers.

Vlog Entry 45 - Updates on Lifeβ‘
A hand held camera shuffles. A static prickling sound emitting from its speaker as the lenses began to focus entirely on a busy street. People rushing past one another; a constant sea of suits, tightly wound buns, and umbrellas. The pelting rain did nothing to stop their descents, nor for the soft voice of a woman who began narrating her travels.
"Week two in New York City," the camera panned outwards. Further back to the buildings of the hurrying and bustling city. Their grey stoney faces, brick upon brick, stood high into the skies. Proud, and yet ominous. "I can't say this place has been forgiving. I've been living in a tiny apartment, and have to walk up six flights of stairs. Yes. You heard me right. Six, damn, flights. Like.. Of all things to be broken, the elevator!"
Lightening flashed across the sky of heavy, crying clouds. Its flash giving way to the colors of cab cars, and drab homeless people at corners begging for change. True colors, of a city that is truly unforgivable.
"But! I've found a few of my followers live here! Hi guys!" The camera, a simple smart phone, turned. Facing the pristine alabaster skin of a young woman, no older than twenty. The high, dark brows settled above a set of emerald eyes. Sparkling with hope, as a pair of plump pink lips parted in a smirk. Before her anxiousness spilled forth; in the form of gently nibbling at her bottom lip. She wasn't as confident as it seemed...
"New Yorker friends! We should get together! And soon! I've been here two weeks, and seriously need to get out of my apartment. Its all work, sleep, work, sleep! I need fun! Adventure, people!" A laugh lifted from her slender throat, as a graceful hand slipped dark chesnut hair behind the cup of her ear.
"Well... Here we are! T.C.R.I. otherwise know as Techno Cosmic Research Industries. My new home from home. Oh, for those who have asked... I am working with a chemical compound they haven't given a name for. Its in the testing phases for cancer research. If produced correctly, this could be the beginning of something great." Lily McKinney turned, allowing a good moment of a shot with herself and the building.
"I'm the youngest on the team.. Per usual, right!?" A pink tongue poked from between her lips. A snarky gesture, playful. It seemed that even past the darkened streets, the woman was at ease with her new life. Outwardly, Lily was confident. With spine straight, and shoulders squared.
Inwardly? Not as much.
The emptying streets, of people rushing home before the riff raff came out, made her nervous. Yet, she had promised to show her small gathering of followers her work place. Not able to record within the sparkling walls, for fear of breaching classified information.
Among the fear of the gathering, emptied darkness of New York boulevards. Was the ever growing inkling she was far too young. Too inexperienced. In a world dominated by men, she was far too much female. No thanks to a simple chromosome, some would say. A doubt had followed, like the clouds above.
And she hoped she was good enough.
One last smile, as the lightening flashed across the sky. Breaking the clouds in a white hot light, while Lily tilted her head thoughtfully. The silk tresses framing her China doll like features, the words forming like they always had towards the end of the video.
"See you guys soon! Message me! And don't forget..."
Her face softened, serious for a moment before she spoke. A catch line she used at every end of a video;
"Don't forget to smell the flowers... "
//So, this has been an idea brewing for a long time. I'm, personally, looking for a Donatello. Don't let that stop you, however!
I am more than willing to double up! I have a long standing knack for playing the hotheaded Raph. π Though, can do any of the guys!
This will be 18+, though. I don't feel comfortable writing with anyone under eighteen.
Message me, if you're interested! I promise, I don't bite.
Hard.
