2. Can I see the Foot Clan's first reaction to becoming magical girls?

Well, their first ever reactions after their first transformation was basically just:

But do they like their magical battle outfits? Well their opinions kind of vary

Ivan (now Cure Royal) is surprised by all means that any of this is happening. I mean portal doors that took you wherever you wanted, a weird castle dimension, and talking teddy bears were already enough, and now he’s a magical warrior? He knows this is another universe but what?? As for the outfit itself, it’s bizarre, but overall he’s indifferent; it’s what he’s gonna be fighting in for who knows how long so he has to get used to it (red’s a good color on him though)

Xever (now Cure Ocean) is also weirded out by all of this; don’t get him wrong, the outfit looks nice, but why? Why is this happening?? And why is it happening to him of all people???

Comet (now Cure Comet) is the only one here who’s actually watched a handful of Precure seasons herself so imagine her excitement when she transforms into the sparkly magical girl she was born to be. Yeah, she loves it

Baxter (now Cure Pollen) is too stunned by the absurdity of the transformation itself (and everything else that’s happened to them in the span of almost an hour) that he doesn’t really have an opinion on the outfit (however those heels are gonna be his downfall in the first few fights)

Tigerclaw (now Cure Geode) doesn’t like the outfits, not because they’re dresses and they’re “girly” and “ridiculous”, but because they’re impractical as battle outfits. If they’re made for battling monstrous creatures, then why is there no armor? What’s with all the frills and lace? Those bows, ribbons, and trains are a fighting liability, what if they get caught on something? Or what if your enemy uses them against you? Not to mention the heel height on these shoes, there’s no way a normal person can fight in those! And what’s with all the accessories, you don’t need any of those on a battle outfit!

Chris (now Cure Crossbone) absolutely hates the outfits, he thinks he looks ridiculous and wants to get out of it immediately (he can’t, they come off on their own). In fact he’s wrapped up about the outfit itself that he doesn’t even fully register what just happened, he doesn’t need an explanation for the transformation he just went through, he needs answers on how to get this damn outfit off!

Anton (now Cure Cupid), like Ivan and Xever, is weirded out by this whole transformation business, but he likes the outfit, it’s cute; it’s the new pair of angel-like wings that surprise him (it feels like he gained a second, more feathery pair of arms; it’s gonna take some getting used to for sure)

In the end, it doesn’t matter what they think of the outfits; they’re gonna have to get used to them anyways, as they are necessary for their new duties as magical warriors :)

Once again, I am so SO SORRY, this answer was LONG overdue. To the person who asked me this I swear when I say I did NOT mean to take this long, lacking motivation kicked me in the ass, hard (also please ignore how this doesn’t even have a proper background, we use our resources here at the official Unlock! Precure Rainbow Askblog). I’ll try my best to make sure that your guys questions don’t take multiple months to answer, and to make more content for this blog so that if I DO take multiple months to answer questions, you’ll at least have something to keep yourself entertained. “Halloween was 10 days ago” SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it’s FINE just look at these guys and their fun costumes, they’re gonna get so much candy

Since I’m not gonna have time to digitize and fix up this doodle I made during work, you guys can just have it now (ignore the mistakes and messes, I did this in pen)

Yeah I decided to say fuck formality because I thought it would motivate me to do the challenge more (plus I like surprises and I’m a slut for the Wheel of Names)

I have a lot of au’s I’ve made personally and theres a lot of au’s my mutual @undercoverbisexualfrog has made that I’ve helped them out with, which means a lot of pretty unique au designs. However, I have learned that I just simply do not have the energy to draw many designs for one au all at once 30+ times right now. However, that does not at all burn out my desire to draw said many designs and honestly, this cycle of wanting to draw but ending up not drawing is pissing me off.

So while thinking about what to do in October, I thought “why not make an October challenge that’s specifically catered to me?” So I did!

You don’t have to participate if you don’t want to, this challenge is just a fun way for me to get my au’s and ideas out there and hopefully motivate me to draw more. But if you would like to participate in your own way, you totally can!
