Murderbot Diaries x Clone Wars Crossover Idea
Obi-Wan and Anakin stumble upon a Sith temple. It's very old and it seems like the temple was built upon an existing structure. (If Quinlan Vos is/were there, he would tell everyone that underneath all the Sithly stuff there are faded but strong feelings of love, care, and well-wishes.
The Sith are there too and the fight between them and the Jedi wakes up something that shouldn't have been woken.
It's Murderbot, ART, and maybe Three (I haven't read any books with Three yet, so I won't be writing about it here.)
The original structure was built as a resting place for Murderbot and ART long after their humans had passed away. The descendants of their friends and colleagues eventually built this place so they could go into stasis. Perhaps the thought was they would eventually die. Maybe the Force decided otherwise.
Anyway, the Sith built the temple because they got as far as reading "Murder" and assumed there was a weapon buried somewhere. There was, but it was actually just Murderbot.
C3PO comes in handy! With their processing powers combined, C3PO and ART create a functional language pack.
Anakin is very excited to meet ART. He loves droids, but he's never met a living ship before! This is so wizard!
Maybe Tatooine is the planet that Murderbot first met PresAux on. Sarlaacs are descendants of the giant worm that almost ate everyone.
At some point, Murderbot asks the clones if they want to hack their governor modules. They're like, "What governor modules?" Murderbot goes, "The chips in your heads?" Obi-Wan goes, "The what?"
Normal scans wouldn't see the chips, but ART redesigned its scanners to look for governor modules shortly after meeting Murderbot for the first time, so sorry Palps.
Murderbot is disgusted by the security of the Jedi Temple. This may or may not be plot relevant.
