it was nerve wracking and borderline embarrassing to ask. even with how long she had known the other, her voice still trembled as she spoke and her cheeks still turned pink as she anticipated their reaction. “so, um,” she said, shrugging as nonchalantly as she could. “will you help me? no pressure -- i was just wondering.”

— THE LAST FEW MONTHS HAD BEEN LIFE CHANGING, to say the least. she was never expecting for a simple fling to escalate so quickly and so poorly. not that daniela couldn’t handle the fact that roman had run off the second anything close to commitment was clear but the fact that she got pregnant was what changed everything. the brunette had been alone for the past months, pregnant and with the baby’s father running off and avoiding her calls. she tried to swallow the heartbreak in, focusing on providing the best for her baby girl but when she heard roman was in town she couldn’t stop herself from going directly to where he usually hung out walking inside with a fire in her eyes, after leaving their daughter at her sister’s place not wanting to bring her to a smoke-filled room. that fire in her brown eyes disappeared the second she stepped foot in front of him, the good memories she had with him coming up for a second before focusing back on the actual problem. “ you dick ” dani spoke, blunt and low. 

“how was i supposed to know you were seeing someone,” she asked innocently which was a complete lie. she had seen the other’s snap and it had made her heart drop. so faith had been finding herself texting a bit more, dropping hints of wanting to see the other, until they finally could meet up. “i just missed you...missed us,” she said which wasn’t a lie. she missed the other, even more so when she saw them with someone else. yeah it was fucked, but she wasn’t ready for something serious. at the same time she wasn’t ready to let the other go either. “so are things serious with that person,” she asked gazing over at the other in a way that always would make them melt when they were together.

M A R N I E went out with a couple of friends from high school, which was better than just sitting at home in her new apartment.  until they were all leaving and she was still at the bar.  eventually ( four rather large glasses of wine post-friends leaving ) marnie decided it was time to go home.  she pulled out her phone and texted whom she thought was her new neighbor ( a woman by the name of wendy )”hey, i’m kinda drunk and uber isn’t going through can you come and get me? i’ll wait outside for you.” and she sent along the pinned address of the bar she’d been at.  and then she paid for her drinks, left a tip, and headed outside to sit on the bench, forgetting it was winter weather and chilly.  

olyvia wasn’t sure whether she should be offended or angry, so naturally, she chose to be passive aggressive towards the other. “well, if that’s how you feel about it..” she licked her lips. “then you can leave.” / @titvnics
