im a big fan of donna being being close with lian but not filling a typical "step-mother" role, since this is following byrne's donna origin as her being an avatar of diana that grew up on themyscira i like the idea of her being bigger on community child raising, especially since she just lost her own son and is still trying to figure out who she is after dark angel wiped her from existence.
