Begrudged as she was to admit it, the Dark World had some perks. Such as it's reverse seasons. While it was the winter in Southland, in the newly officiated realm, it was warm and albeit sometimes turbulent (weather wise), it was also beautiful and the perfect place to catch up on her winter tan.

The faerie Princess was enjoying herself, aiming for an even tan, on the beach when she felt a presence near her. One of River's eyebrows raised above her large sunglasses moments before she opened her eyes. "Is everything alright? Or are you privy to imitating a palm tree?" She wondered aloud, not unhappy but curious about the new person instead. "I thought that most would try to relax and enjoy the summer season here. When we're not falling prey to sudden sun bursts, that is." River paused. "Please tell me that you're not going to attempt swimming with the Hydra. I'd like to not witness a death today."

Where: Westland Costume Party

He wore his Ken outfit with pride. He was happy with the way it turned out and the way he was able to get every piece just right. As he mingled, he reminded himself that he was here to represent Westland, and he couldn't get too lost in a drink or other things tonight. The last thing he wanted was to disappoint Jakovan.

As he headed to the open bar, he caught a glimpse of his reflection. "Damn, I might have committed to the bit a little too much. Either my hair will survive this or I have to go back to a buzz cut and start over. I got as close as I could to Ken's blond. What do you think? Is blond my new thing or did my devilishly handsome vibe go away the minute my hair color changed?

Where: The Cross Roads Bar and Grill - Westland

All day, Wren worked on music in her home studio until she felt uninspired, so she took her notebook out to grab a bite to eat. The annoying part was that there was a singular paparazzo blatantly taking pictures of her. Wren understood. People had jobs to do, so she didn't say anything, but another idea came to her. "Hey, if you're eating alone, would you mind joining me to block their shot?" the High Priestess asked the first person she saw at a table alone. She nodded toward the table across from hers with the camera pointed at her to further prove why she asked.

Where: Coffee shop in any realm

Adrik didn't know why he was so nervous to be in a new position in life, but he was. His kids and wife weren't the only ones dealing with transition. He had gone from captain of the guard in Southland, then Divine Forest, to King Consort in Haven. He had been around politics enough to be familiar, but living it was different. He had checked out books, read up on history, and studied. But did he also look the part? He stopped the person walking by. "Hey, I'm taking a poll. Would you look at me and think he looks like a king? Or no? Be honest."

Rei tapped her foot in time with the music playing as she sipped her drink and doodled on the napkin in front of her. Her assistant had insisted that she take a break from work tonight and wasn't going to take no for an answer, so here she was.
