Hi there, I recently bought the Ahsoka novel, but I have yet to watch all of the clone wars (let alone start rebels) would you say that is definitely something I should do first or is it okay to read her book without knowing that much about her? (I have a whoooole bunch of other books I could read before Ahsoka so I have time to catch up on the show ;p) Thank you in advance! :D
Hi! So hmm... I think you would need to have seen The Clone Wars at least because the Ahsoka novel occurs post-TCW and before Star Wars Rebels (although there is an easter egg if you’ve seen Rebels). A lot of the story resonates more if you’ve seen TCW.
If you need an episode guide for Ahsoka-centric episodes, I would love to direct them to you!

aaaaah, I just picked up volume two of Monstress, gotta grab volume one still (though I read some online already) and it's so exciting to see you freak out about it cause it's so GOOD. Hey Steph, I saw you posted some quotes from "Lab girl"! It's on my to read list, so I was wondering what you think of it? It's gotta be nice right, science and plants are nice xD
YEAH i’m maybe like a third of the way through it and so far i’m enjoying it! A lot of it is lowkey about being a girl in science too which is cool, bc almost all of these science memoir type books are written by men. so if you’re into that genre (or just plants or science) i’d definitely recommend it!

Hi there, this may be a bit of a random question.. I want to watch the animated Star Wars series (Ahsoka looks so cool, your posts really got me interested in her). Anyways, I was wondering what the difference is between The Clone Wars and the Rebels series? (I do have the Clone Wars chronological order so I figured I'd start with that?) Is that the way to go? Thank you in advance :)
Ahsoka is cool! And half the battle is won since you also have the chronological order!
The Clone Wars happens in between the prequel movies: Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, and IMO is a better prequel than the movies. Also the animated Clone Wars did the impossible-- it made me like Anakin and understand how his fall was possible and it is largely due to Ahsoka making him likable.
I also got a better picture how the Jedi screwed themselves over and how none of them (except a few) notice that the Jedi were turning from a peacekeeping force into a War Machine.
Star Wars Rebels happens after the end of the prequel before A New Hope begins with the formation of the Rebel Alliance as we know it!
