The Tiny Ants Who (might) Eat Spider Eggs
Behold "The Spider Egg Ant" (Proceratium) a strange-looking ant seldom seen though it's fairly widespread and common. They live in rotting logs, under bark, even under discarded (illegally dumped?!) asphalt tiles in the woods.
These ants are tiny. They'll eat things most ants enjoy, like sweets & dead insects, but they love spider eggs most.
In the lit, one guy claims their "tail curl" is to help hold eggs. Seems plausible, but needs more study IMO!

Then one day you do something that annoys your tiny neighbors, you try to go to work they all run out of their little house, and one grabs each of your fingers, toes, ears etc. holding you down since they are crazy strong. And they are reading you the riot act. mad as hell, but you can't understand since they are tiny, have little high-pitched voices and talk too fast.
Anyway, you get fed up with them and bite one of them in half, which makes them panic, but you get away.
That is ant life.
