Commemorating the Patron of Henty Machinery Field Days, the late Tim Fischer, former Deputy Prime Minister, Member for Farrer and Australian Trade Minister. Tim always enjoyed his annual visit to the Henty Machinery Field Days and was even instrumental in his early days as local State MP for Sturt, in gaining a freehold title for the Field Days Cooperative to operate on the site, which was a former Travelling Stock Reserve (TSR). A plaque was unveiled by former HMFD Chairman, Ross Edwards, and Tim's wife and partner of 30 years, Judy Brewer, at the site today.
