Time and Tay are like voices on Kinn's shoulder.
The Demon and The Angel.
If they've known each other for years, I feel like Time would be the friend who talks Kinn into bad situations, who convinces him to smoke his first joint, who introduces Kinn to his first hooker, who gets Kinn in trouble with his dad. But of course, Korn can't kick him away because Time's family has dealings that Korn needs.
On the hand, we have Tay who is emotionally intelligent, open, smart and kind. The friend who keeps Kinn humble and puts him in his place. The one who talks Kinn into opening up his heart and being kind to the new kid.
In this scene,
Tay is worried that Kinn is being irresponsible with money but just look at Time's face. He's fucking proud of Kinn. He's probably not talking because he knows Tay would shut him down. But he's very much on Kinn's side.
I love the dynamic.
I also love that the angel and the demon are in a (seemingly) loving relationship. I love it. I can't get over how different their vibes are, and yet, they share every scene, linking fingers, staring at eachother, sharing kisses in the corner of the screen.
Kinn must be so sick of them.
