      He bellowed, black leather-clad fingers curling maniacally around his jawline a betrayal of his own excitement -- it was a move that heâd practiced quite carefully, ascertaining the perfect angle that made him look the most intimidating. From beneath the cover of his cape, he pulled a detonator ( that looked conspicuously like a television remote that had been modified with a tiny satellite dish stuck to the top ), presenting it with a menacing flourish for the anticipated hero.

      Suddenly, all movement and dramatic show on his part ceased, bright green eyes darting up and down the unfamiliar figure in a lack of recognition. The villainâs arms fell to his sides, the remote detonator dangling haplessly by his hip as he addressed the stranger with a frank voice, entirely absent of its previous maniacal embellishment.
