I first learned about the health benefits of a green smoothie about 4 years ago at a green smoothie class in Las Vegas and it changed my life! π€π The main benefits that I received were more energy, better digestion, clearer skin, and being able to reach my ideal body weight. These are actually the top 3 benefits that most people receive as a part of the 30 day green smoothie challenge!π΅π The problem is that the Standard American Diet (spells SAD) only gives people about 1-2 servings of fruits and veggies each day, which is typically in the form of juice, french fries and ketchup. π·ππ The bad news is that processed foods and high animal protein consumption are what lead to increased risk of heart disease, cancer, and autoimmune diseases, which my mom and dad were directly affected by.π The good news is that it's never too late to start and anyone can learn how to slow, stop, or even reverse what they are going through to regain more of their quality of life back! You can still eat all your favorite things too, you just have to find healthier alternatives which Iβve done and they taste great and are very filling!
