Virgil Caine - There's an X in the middle of Nixon
Time-Lag Records is running a Kickstarter campaign so that they can reissue some of this old stuff. Give them your $$$. They're pretty close to their 15K mark.

Time-Lag Records is a one-man label that puts out high-quality vinyl and CD releases of new and rediscovered psych, garage, and outsider folk music. It's Time-Lag that we have to thank for releases like Steven David Heitkotter's "Heitkotter" LP (see below). Time-Lag founder Nemo is currently running a kickstarter project to raise funds to get four reissue projects off the ground. Slated to get the deluxe Time-Lag treatment are the legendary Chicago garage band The Bachs's "Out of the Bachs" (1968); outsider folkie Virgil Cane's "crude & deeply mystical" self-titled private press LP (1971); Eddie Calahan's "loner rock opus" "False Ego" (1976); and Drywater's "extremely crude, but very charming" "Backbone of the Nation" (1973).
This video has full-track samples of each of the four albums. More information about the project and about Time-Lag Records is available here. Have a listen, and think about pledging a few bucks. And check out Time-Lag's catalog while you're at it. You won't be disappointed.
