You got back from work placing every thing nearby the door and kicked your shoes off before going to the bedroom, ready to sleep through the rest of your afternoon.
Only..when you layed down, you couldn't. Despite being emotionally, physically, and mentally tired, your mind was racing with stress and worry. This entire week had been hectic. Nothing seemed to get better, does it even?
You gave another sigh turning on your side, the photo of your partner facing you. Rick knew you could silently miss him, therefore placed his photo on your night stand, silly but it helps lessen the loneliness in this empty bed.
"Waiting for me?" You didn't even hear the door open as you sat up seeing him standing in the doorway. "Actually, yes." He chuckled walking over and sat beside you opening his arms. Your arms seemed to move on their own as they wrapped around him, how much you long for his touch sometimes. Especially during these times.
He knew you didn't like to be touched a lot, so when you hung on him even after he let go, he knew something was wrong.
"Having those kind of days aren't we love?" You nodded feeling his hand pet your hair, moving locks behind your ear and down your neck sending shivers yet comfort.
"Let me cook for you, have you eaten?" You shook your head knowing he was frowning looking to the side as he does when he doesn't like something. "I'll be quick on it, you rest alright?" You held him in place looking up, "Could we lay here for a moment?" He hesitated wanting you to first have something but you insisted dinner could wait.
"Okay, just remember, days do get easier. I'm sorry this is happening to you Y/n, you know I love you right?" He smiled as you wrapped your arms around him, cuddling, and pecked your lips. "Of course I do, I'd never forget the guy who makes my life a little better."
He raised a brow acting surprised, "A little?!" You laughed shaking your head, "No, okay, a lot better." "I know I do, I know."
