Before the procedure, I was injected with a radioactive chemical so I am advised TO STAY 1 METER AWAY from minors and pregnant women for 2 DAYS because I have radiation in my body that can harm them. Good thing it’s fine I can stay near Prince at home 🐶 After the injection, the Thyroid Scan took around 1hr. Then I took the radioactive iodine. I will need to wait 2 hours here in the Waiting Room before the Thyroid Uptake. Waaa called up 6 hospitals for a couple of days and I didn’t know it was this hard to look for a hospital with Thyroid Scan and Uptake. I hope this post will help some people by using the right hashtags. Look at the prices! For this illness alone, I think you need at least P10,000. Ultrasound and blood test were P2,400 and the doctor’s fee was P850 so P2,550 for 3 visits.
