“Nah, I ain’t nothin’ special!” Todd dismisses with a wave of his hand as he jumps from the rooftop up to the slightly higher ledge. His arms are outwards for balance, a display to show that he had no intention to tipping himself off of it, though he had no need to use his arms like that for balance. His feet move with practiced ease, turning himself around so he can walking backwards and still talk while facing Maq. He smirks, tilting his chin upwards before he winks with a dramatic tilt of his chin back down. A sharp ‘HA HA’ comes out of his mouth, which is opened wide, tongue sticking out gently, showing off his canines. For a human, he seemed rather... Inhuman at times.

Florence stares at her own hands. The light is gone, but she can still feel it’s burning brilliance. “ I never knew daylight could be so violent . “ She looks to Maqyaža with wide eyes. “ How can someone control something like this ? “

fingers pull away from the sunflower that she’s been talking to ( lily the sunflower & she appreciates the irony ) . she touches the charm of plant command around her neck that never fails to remind her of caduceus , she should send him a message soon .   ❛   sometimes ! this charm that caduceus gave me only lets me do it once a day but , like , that doesn’t mean you can’t talk to them when they can’t talk back , you know ? there are , like , so many flowers & only so little time , you can’t just wait for 24 hours to talk to them all every time !  ❜

“Ooohh,” Fearne hums, a small frown settling onto her lips. Pout visible, she leans closer to Maq. “I mean, we can always share if you’re comfortable with that,” she offers. They haven’t been traveling together very long and Fearne rushes to remind herself that not everyone gives attention so freely.

Wide, sympathetic eyes fall on them. She’s lucky to have so many people in her life that support her in whatever she does. She only knows enough about  Maqyaža to consider them a reliable companion. Reaching out, she places a hand on their shoulder and squeezes gently. “Well, you’re enough for someone. I mean me at least,” she insists. She has never had a destiny to speak of, only dreams that she follows largely on a whim.

Niamh should have known better than to go wandering off in the mountains, considering it was an area that she wasn’t familiar with. Curiosity had won, though, and she left the safety of the beach to go exploring. The mountain was beautiful - she could see the ocean from various points, could smell the sea salt on the air.  

Things were going well until she slipped and twisted her ankle. It had rained the day before and the ground was still slick in places. She stumbled and fell with a sharp cry, landing on her hands and knees, scraping them on the ground. Gritting her teeth she tried to stand, only to find that she couldn’t put any weight on her left foot without a lot of pain.

Damn. That wasn’t good. She couldn’t walk or swim with a hurt foot. Gingerly she lowered herself onto a larger rock to sit so she could examine her injury. It was already swelling and bruising. She crinkled her nose and looked up, taking in her surroundings.
