Not too far off lies a woman doubled over clutching her side . Damn , something feels severely pulled or worse . Staggering to her feet and limping over the strongwoman offers him her open hand . What was that creature ? Whatever it was , it had attacked her town and she was not about to rest until they tracked it down again . She could feel things beginning to heal internally she did not want to feel . Spitting blood off to the side on the pavement she wiped her mouth with her free arm and hauled him up .

                    it wasn’t rare for people of all walks of life to visit lux. after all, it was an open nightclub and he didn’t judge those that entered. however, the man that had entered the club was peculiar, to say the least, for instead of asking for a drink like everyone else did, requested for a ‘glass of your finest mead’. it earned a raise of his brows, but nevertheless, had provided the man with beer as he took a careful sip of his own whiskey as he watched him drink the beverage with muted interest. they had then made small talk, and lucifer learned that the man was a god of some sort. that term made him pause, then realized that it was the generalized term, and not, well, GOD god. they’d shared laughs, jokes, the fact that lucifer was quite literally the devil. but when he had his back to him, he hadn’t accounted for a large, strong hand to brush along his back, and the slightest touch sent pain arcing into his nerves, the scars from where he’d cut his OWN wings off after they regrew still raw and healing. that, and he didn’t like how VULNERABLE that made him feel.
