Happy ThorsDay - The God of Axes Well here we are another Thor’s Day and another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic) mythological characters. This week it’s The God of Axes from the Bronze Age Cult at Grevensvaenge. Possibly worshiped as one of or both of the Alcis twins, or one of the Norse and Germanic ancient Thunder Gods, Thunaraz, Donar, or Thunor. Less likely Thor proper though, as he occurred much later. He would have been worshiped as a fertility god, and possibly a god of good harvest.
