I think possibly the one Volkner ship I could kind of get behind is like. I forget the ship name. But it's him and Candice. And it doesn't work out in the end, that's important to me, I feel like she wants it more than him and he just eventually realizes he's not able to contribute the kind of energy a romantic relationship needs
But for some reason Volkner/Roark is always the first Volkner ship I think of even tho I don't even really like it, I think this is bc I saw it a lot during an era where really basic seme/uke yaoi dynamics were still really popular and they got shoved into that a lot
