Challenge Day 036 of Year 12 Ralta prided herself on being goal oriented. She kept her eyes on the prize. This turned out to be more difficult than she imagined once she realized the system she existed in wasn't as helpful.

Challenge Day 035 of Year 12 Malter loved finding new sports, and getting fully immersed in them. The more obscure the better. He'd found one recently where a group of people had to race a multi section race while moving a ball, without moving the same way each section. It got quite hectic, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Challenge Day 034 of Year 12 Terim loved the opportunities for dance in the city. She'd grown up in a farming pod and it just didn't have the places to learn or the places to really stretch her skills. Even a small town would have have some community center to learn and dance in. But the corpo work pod didn't even have that.

Challenge Day 033 of Year 12 When Yil was a little kid, he rarely went outside his neighbourhood. But now he was setting off between worlds in different systems. It was crazy for him to think about.

Challenge Day 032 of Year 12 Senida had been around for a long time. It wasn't some ancient bot from a forgotten people. But it sympathized with them. It had seen a couple centuries go by and had felt quite out of it's time.

Geironul, The Charging Spear Norsery Rhymes from A to Z
Happy Thorsday! - Here’s another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic, Celtic) mythological characters. This week it’s the Geironul, GeirÖlul, GeirÖlul, A Valkyrie mentioned in the Prose and Poetic Eddas.
Her name means “spear charger”, from the word ‘geirr’ meaning “spear” and 'Önul / Ölul’ from indicating “charging”, or “running forward” according to Sinek, from Old Norse. Though there's some debate as to the name's translation and origin.
Like most Valkyries she collects the worthy dead, the einherjar, to fight for Odin in the afterlife, and pours mead for them.
Challenge Day 031 of Year 12 Pieri was finding herself surprised that she had a crush on her human coworker. They were in excursion suits on the docks most of the day, she practically forget he was human. Talking with him just ended up being the best part of her day.

Challenge Day 030 of Year 12 Walat was always worried it's bipedal friends were going to fall over with only two legs. It gave her a sense of vertigo sometimes.

Challenge Day 029 of Year 12 Blasha liked working in an office with people. She lived close by, and the meals were already prepared. And it gave her a good reason to get out of her cabin. But the base was large and she could imagine it was a pain to get from one side of it to another for work. And she wouldn't want to even try to commute back and forth from one of the other habitats each day.

Challenge Day 028 of Year 12 Tor often wondered about what his life would have been like if he'd moved away to that new planet with his friends. No one from the old crew had stayed in town except him. He was fine for work, and he had a life there, but it felt strange knowing how far away a large part of his life was.

Challenge Day 027 of Year 12 Potid didn't travel home much these days. There were too many hoops to jump through. Too many costs and restrictions to travel easily between it's current planetary system and home. It was missing it's friends and family and was thinking it might just move back permanently.

Challenge Day 026 of Year 12 Wendri couldn't understand how they kept getting sick right before an event they wanted to go to. It was starting to feel like some sort of a curse.

Challenge Day 025 of Year 12 T6 did a lot of fine manipulations of objects in it's work. But it felt like it's friend did a lot of fine manipulations that frequently got them both into trouble.

Well here we are another Thor’s Day and another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic) mythological characters. This week it’s Gautatyr, Gautatýr, one of the names attributed to Odin / Wodan in Skaldic poetry.
His name is thought to mean “Gautland god". From 'gaut' "Geats" and 'tyr', "god".
It’s Odin in his aspect as the god and ancestor of the Geats /Gauts / Goths.
Challenge Day 024 of Year 12 Bojif wasn't sure how it was going to make it to it's family reunion. It wasn't the time or the distance, but the quarantine coming back from his crews latest mission. He didn't want to miss seeing his family after so long, but he also didn't want to give them any exotic diseases.
