Moonlight parted the pale curtains that blocked you from the outside world that buzzed and hummed around you. You say at your window seat and took a quick peek out the window, watching as two drops of water raced their way down the pane of glass.
The serenity of the moment was ruined when Alexander stormed lamming your shared bedroom. “You’ll never believe what that prick of a man Jefferson said!” He pulled his tie off angrily and all but ripped the buttons from his dress shirt. “He comes into my office claiming how incompetent I am and calling my work, my writing inept, comparing it to that of a child!” He crossed the room still muttering about ‘that purple beast of a man;’ “Alex,” you called, crossing the room to wrap your arms around his shoulders, you nuzzled your face into his neck. “Don’t worry about he has to say love.” You releases him, but grabbed his hand and dragged him over to you bed giggling to yourself. “I think you’re in need of a cuddle session sweetheart.” You both grinned as he climbed into your lap. “After that horrible purple monster called your writing childlike.” He laughed and pursed his lips, waiting for the sweet sensation of your lips on his. You cupped his cheeks and kissed him rather squarely on the mouth. His chuckles reached your ears as he stroked your fingertips. “I love you my darling.”You leaned over to kiss his ink like hair. “I love you two,” you mumbled, “more than you may ever know.”
