The Secret Santa reveal conversations can pass that time if they have been happening during this week.
For the New Year, I can already assure you that will be similar to last year: a firework show will be happening at the Hamptons' midnight.

Night of 24th December, Christmas Eve and the Annual Christmas Ball at the Hamptons had already started. Music, drinks and tons of known and unknown faces were all together to celebrate and also fulfill the final task that was purposed to the citizens days ago: the reveal of Secret Santa's. Sofia still had no idea who was hers, but was certainly someone with a good taste and great sight to spot what she enjoyed.
As a slight impatient girl when it came to this type of activities, Sofia walked between the crowd, looking for the one that was going to receive a gift from her: Anthony Harrison. She didn't knew Anthony that well to know exactly what to buy for him; they weren't strangers for a few years now but they weren't exactly close either, so it turned Sofia's task into something challenging and a true search job for what men like to get for Christmas. When she finally found him, Sofia hid the bag with the gift behind her back with one hand and approached Anthony with a smile in her lips, "Better than last year's Ball?"

Because all good things end in one big party, the Secret Santa is no different and the Hamptons' Mayor and Hamptons Hall Council present you with the 2014 Annual Christmas Ball.
Every citizen’s name was written on a slip of paper to be paired with another citizen so all of this event could take off. The names were sent in letters with a few guidelines that people should follow, the most important one being where a gift should be exchanged between every Secret Santa pair after their revelation. This day has arrived.

Monday, 22nd December 2014
Because we are all aware that setting a party to start on the exact day of Christmas Eve would be a terrible idea, what will happen instead is that on Monday Night, a post on TH will be up as if it was Wednesday, 24th December 2014 at night for the Annual Christmas Ball to take place.
The Christmas Ball will last from Monday, 22nd to Friday, 26th, giving all of us, 1 week to roleplay 1 Night: the Christmas Eve Night. Of course, on Thursday, 25th, you can make posts on the actual real time as well, but this gives everyone the chance to continue unfinished conversations after Thursday and up to and including Friday as well.
During the Christmas Ball, your character is free to reveal their identity to the character to whom you have been sending “gifts”.
Should be made preferentially through a para or simply through message talk [if you see that family/events irl is taking you more time than you thought...]
