sing a song of sixpence
Backyards can be pretty diverse actually.
I just saved a little chick today! A Thrush bird chick! He fell into our garden, and the dogs wanted to get him, but luckily I was fast enough to grab him. I asked my parents what to do, and my mum has talked to a guy before who knew birds, and said that since he has normal feathers, he only needs time to gather his strength to fly away, and I should put him back to the (abadoned) neighbour's garden. His parents found him, and hopefully it was him I saw on one of our bushes sitting
I couldn't take a picture of him since my hands were full, and didn't want to waste time either. He was yelling a lot, but stopped when I started petting him
He was super cute, and I already miss him
