For most of her stay on this planet, Raa-Un has had someone else telling her what to do and how to survive. Without them, the quality of her life has significantly declined. Sporadic violence, stealing, and other criminal acts make up the majority of her day. It isnât hard. Sheâs stronger and faster than most, so anyone who really gives her trouble is in for a bad time. The only thing that kept her from having nearly a perfect set up was this damn cop. Raa-Un could appreciate the dedication to a cause and a job, of course, but this Theo kept on bothering her and to add annoyance, seemed to actually be able to round her up into the station. It mostly was that Raa-Un didnât want to hurt her, but she kept at the chases in such a way that she felt sorry for her. Or it might have been to due to the fact that her hideouts always seemed to be places Theo found.Â
She reached up, checking that her side feathers were in order and settled back against the rough brick wall. This time sheâd scored big, a whole actual meal. Some idiot had been bullying a fellow non-human near a chinese restaurant a few blocks over and hadnât noticed Raa-Un lift the order out of his car. It was enough for a few humans, but Raa-Un went through quite a lot more calories than most. She broke the chopsticks in two and opened up the first container, excited for a meal. So engrossed in this, she wasnât really paying attention to anything around her.Â
