Threaded replies make Tumblr more like the classic internet and I'm excited!
I hope people will talk directly to one another more, rather than just throwing ideas out in a busy town square and hoping a random person will give an iota of attention.
I'm 44 and I remember the early days of the internet.
We would write essays on Buiten Board Systems just so a handful of people would read them and be enthralled.
These days everything is fast and attention grabbing but the total attention of the internet hasn't changed.
I have no crystal ball, but I hope this feature brings more people closer together.
