“Is it weird that I sort of just want to lie in the middle of the road right now?” Marie voiced to the other, watching as the rain came down and thunder rolled across the sky, it was still warm and she was a little bit soggy from being caught in it as she ran to shelter. “I realize that it might seem like a cry for help but I promise it’s not, it just seems like something someone would do in a movie and I want to know if it’s as relaxing as it seems.”

“Look, I don’t want to alarm you and trust me when I say I’ve been trying to ignore it. But there has been a rustling behind us for at least ten minutes now and in my head I’ve already decided it’s either a coyote or a bear and therefore we’re doomed.”

“Fighting newborns requires Jasper’s knowledge,” Carlisle spoke. “we all need the training and you wolves are welcome to join us.” The youngest Swan did her best to drown out the sounds of the graduation party as she continued to listen in on the conversation. Jake was being smug to Bella in saying she should be happy they are all working together and heard her older sister tell him they are going to get themselves killed. Standing on the other side of the door and hearing all of this made Lily’s blood boil in her. If it were possible is boiled even more so when Edward brought up the fact that Charlie and Lily were in danger due to their scents especially the youngest Swan. “It will probably be best to lure the two out of town since--” Edward got cut off by Alice. “We have an ease dropper.” her voice rang and before Lily could walk away from the door, the door opened with Alice standing in the doorway. “Liliana.” the psychic vampire gave her a gentle smile and hoped Lily hadn’t heard what they were just talking about. Seeing Bella in her sights along with Jake, Lily walked past Alice and stood before them. “You...you’ve been lying to me since I got here,” the reckless Swan fought the tears hard in her eyes. “no! You don’t get to speak.” She pointed at her older sister. At a loss for words and really not knowing what to say in this kind of situation Lily took a step back and looks to Jacob. “And you...you’re no better than her.” Lily didn’t know what hurt worse. Getting fed lies by her own blood or by the guy she had a crush on. Not saying anything else Lily took off and ignored the pleas of both Bella and Jake, even ignored the pleas of some of the Cullen family. Hopping into her sister’s truck, Lily started it up and drove back home. 

That was three days ago and over the course of those days Lily dug up research on the conversation she heard. She was trying her best to wrap her mind around it all. Lily had been back home since May and this entire time almost everyone had been lying to her. As she sat in her bedroom and thought about it all -- Lily began to suspect maybe Serena could’ve been in on it? No. She couldn’t have and if she were, the female Quileuete would’ve told her. Then again, Lily thought the same thing with Bella and look what happened. After that night Lily lied to Charlie and told him that she wasn’t feeling all too well and made him believe she caught the flu. Of course that didn’t stop Bella nor Jake from blowing up her phone which confirmed her theory that Serena knew nothing about this army and what her brother or the Cullen’s really were. 

“I’ll be fine Dad -- I promise.” Lily gave him a small smile to reassure him. He was able to leave for a shift which meant leaving Lily all by herself at the Swan residence. The last time Lily heard of her sister was she is at the Cullen’s house working on details for the wedding. “Tell Sue thank you for the soup.” After Charlie had left her, Lily popped the soup in the microwave to warm it up and watched the rain softly fall. Letting out a small sigh Lily saw no surprise in it raining again. Hearing the microwave go off the youngest Swan removed the food from the kitchen appliance before going back into the basement; her makeshift bedroom. She wanted to dig more vampires and the Quileute’s legends before confronting everyone -- especially Bella and Jacob. Though before Lily could even go back to her little research she saw a figure at her double doors that led to outside, to the woods that stood tall behind the Swan family home. “You have gotta be kidding me.” Placing the bowl down she walks over to the doors with a glare in her face. “Did me ignoring you wasn’t subtle enough?” She questioned. “I’m pretty sure it screamed leave me alone.”

Annoyance echoed into Lily’s very core and the familiarity of her blood boiling came back the more Jacob stood before her. Though seeing Jacob out in the pouring rain made her go a little soft at heart and thus unlocked the door so he could come inside. “You got two minutes.” was all she said before taking a seat at her computer desk. Lily wasn’t going to hide the fact she had been doing her research from the conversation she heard the other night. 

“He did what?” Lily asked in total shock. Not even an hour returning back to Forks and Lily already wants to punch a certain somebody who goes by the name of Jacob Black, the jackass who kissed her sister. The younger Swan wasn’t jealous of anything, oh no, she was furious that he would do something like that when he knew Bella was in a committed relationship. Plopping down into the chair as she kept her eyes on Bella, Lily let out a huff of frustration and was starting to blame herself for this. Growing up Lily had always been the one out of the two in getting rough. She had been in far more fights than Bella ever has, not bragging or anything. “I cannot believe he did that,” she spoke. “what an idiot--I’m sorry you broke your hand sis.” Lily had to admit she is surprised in her sister in punching the Black kid, but breaking her hand? Weaaak. Quickly changing into her pajamas Lily crawls into her sister’s bed and lays beside her. People would think it was weird for girls their age to be sharing a bed, but it is usually what they would do when one or the other was hurt. Plus, not that Lily would ever admit it, but she did miss her clumsy older sister and just sleeping beside her sister felt right for the night. That and Lily’s bed is coming in tomorrow. Her hazel eyes were fixated on the ceiling at the glow in the dark stickers the two put up there when they were young. It was total silence between the sisters until, “I can kick his ass for you, Bells.” She smiled as she heard her sister erupt into laughter. “Just say the world and I’ll do it.” When Bella made the comment that she too would then end up with a sprained hand Lily shrugged it off. “Oh please, I am not such a weakling like you Bells when it comes to throwing a punch.” The evidence of broken arms and broken noses that Lily caused in the past was proof enough. “Goodnight,” the brunette paused and smirked as she saw Bella turn over with her back facing her younger sister. “...Isabella.” It had been too long since Lily had taunted her sister with that nickname. She could almost hear Bella smirk when she spoke. “Goodnight Liliana.” 

The next morning came a little too quick and Lily was woken up early by Bella when she nearly tripped. Having trouble going back to sleep Lily went ahead and decided to get up and unpack some of her boxes while awaiting for her bed to arrive. “Go Dad, I’ll be okay,” Lily reassured her father for what it felt like the thousandth time. “I’m a big girl and I promise I won’t get into any trouble.” Giving her Dad a hug, Lily waved off the Chief of Police and she then had the house all to herself. The younger Swan got to briefly meet the infamous Edward when he came to pick Bella up, leaving Lily the truck in case she needed to go into town. Charlie hadn’t had the time recently to enroll Lily into Forks High but by the way the Charlie spoke, Lily would be in it by Monday. Connecting her laptop to her speakers, Lily began to blast music throughout the basement for her to live in. It wasn’t half bad really, Charlie had renovated the basement into someone living there or a hangout really. It was temporary for her until Bella moved out and Lily would get her room. Towards the end of finishing up cleaning Lily froze as she thought she heard the door bell ringing and listened for the next few seconds to only confirm someone is at the door. “Coming!” she didn’t know if they heard or what, but she made her way back up the stairs and to the front door. 

It didn’t take Lily not even five seconds to realize who was at her front door. She smirks and learns against the door frame. “Oh look, if it isn’t the jackass who forced himself onto my sister and tried to get out of the friend zone to only fail.” Lily smiled at him in a sarcastic way before moving out of the way and allowing him inside. “Hey Jerk, its has been quite a few years.” The years may have changed Lily physically, but she was still a sarcastic wit as ever. Crossing her arms over her chest, Lily held her stance against him. “Y’know it is taking every thing in my body right now to not punch you--be lucky Bells told me to do my best in not to do such a thing.”  

Danny was at his bookstore, putting new books away. He looks up when he hears the door. "Hello! Welcome to my shop! I can help you find anything you need."

Louie was out shopping. They needed some things for their home, and were also trying to find Chengling a surprise. They knew things were hard on him currently, and they would do anything to cheer him up. They walked into the current shop, running right into someone. "I am so sorry."

They follow him, nodding. They start swaying with him. "It's not too hard so far."
